Today was an exciting day! It marked the 45th day of the 90-Day Fitness and Accountability Challenge– so we’re halfway there! But today, something else happened. Something was delivered to my door. Something exciting!
Since the beginning of January, I have been a member of an incredibly motivating challenge group for P90X3 and other Beachbody programs. With the intensity of following a 90-Day Beachbody DVD program, I needed all the accountability I could get… and it’s been great. So great, in fact, that after contemplating for many many years, I decided to take the plunge and sign up as a Beachbody Coach with the support of my coach, Scottie Hobbs. Today I received my Body Beast Challenge Pack complete with a 30-Day supply of Beachbody’s signature nutrition drink Shakeology. Admittedly, I signed up to be a coach mainly for the discount on Shakeology, which I’ve always wanted to try, as well as other Beachbody products. But as I’m slowly reading about the amazing business opportunity Beachbody provides, I’m intrigued. I’m excited. I’m pumped! I’m ready to lead and coach by example. It helps that I’ve already been using their programs for 4+ years now and recommend them to whoever will listen. So I guess I’ll officially write here: I am an Independent Team Beachbody Coach.
Yikes! So much to do and so much to read. What does it all entail? I did go over some of the legalities of social media and blogging, and since I’m still new to it all, I’ll err on the side of caution and won’t write too much more until I learn the ins and outs. Nevertheless, there are exciting things ahead!
And Beachbody isn’t the only scary adventure coming up when it comes to coaching. I recently enrolled in Newfield Network’s Core Professional Development Program, Foundations course at the University of Calgary. A friend of mine had mentioned this session many years ago. Everything about it sounded positive, and for her, I noticed a change in her after she experienced the course. It’s all about personal growth and individual development, which I’m all over. So I finally decided it was my turn to explore my own personal growth- conceptually, emotionally, and somatically. To say I’m a bit nervous is an understatement. But I’m ready to go into the course with eyes, ears and heart open.
