I am continually learning about new destinations and hikes, acquiring outdoor skills, or striving to up my fitness game. I enjoy writing and reflecting on these topics. This blog, http://www.inspirationrick.ca, is about inspiring myself and others to get out there, do things that push us out of our comfort zone, and enjoy whatever journey we’re on. I make every attempt to ensure accurate and up-to-date information, at the time of writing, where appropriate. By reading any material on http://www.inspirationrick.ca, you acknowledge that doing so is at your own risk and your own free will. I make no guarantees about the completeness, accuracy, suitability, or applicability of any information, products, advice, or recommendations, whether written or implied. With that said, I welcome any feedback or comments regarding outdated information, and I will update this blog accordingly.
You must do your own due diligence. I advise you to double check any travel information, travel advisories, website addresses, hiking trail reports, tour companies, mountain guides, fitness programs, and any related information. For example, I’ve written that bear spray is a must while hiking in the Canadian Rockies. Make sure you read up on how to use said bear spray! As another example, some articles about my local hikes were written prior to the June 2013 floods in Southern Alberta, which altered many hiking trails and conditions. Some of those articles have not been updated with new trail information. I am not responsible for any harm or incidents that occur to you as a result of information found in this blog, including but not limited to being chased by bears, followed by cougars, pursued by angry llamas, being pick-pocketed abroad, or being evacuated from high altitude adventures.
